Visual MediFlex 7.1.1 Service Pack 2 Upgrade - 30 APRIL 2008
DO NOT UPDATE until you have brought MediFlex up to version 7.1.1, or your system will be rendered unusable. (Your current version is displayed along the top line of all MediFlex screens). NOTE: Exit out of all MediFlex sessions and Microsoft Word sessions on all computers. Close down the MediFlex Link Processor (MD and BP users only).
Running the Upgrade: We strongly recommend that you download the update file (ie Save it) to your desktop (or a folder on your local hard drive that you can access after the download is complete). Then, run the downloaded file by double-clicking on it. Then, simply follow the prompts. Run all options exactly as offered. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO RUN THIS UPGRADE FROM EACH MEDIFLEX WORKSTATION. THIS UPGRADE NEED ONLY BE RUN ONCE, AND WILL AUTOMATICALLY UPGRADE ALL OTHER WORKSTATIONS NEXT TIME THEY START MEDIFLEX.- What will this Service Pack give you ?
- 1) Improved Online Claims Manager for HIC Online users.
- 2) Bug fixes in some reports.
- 3) Fix for unannounced HICOnline change causing a "9130" error.
- 4) Clinical module now includes Medicare Reference number on Pathology Request Slips.

Utilities
Repair corrupted dates in your MediFlex database. If you have ever seen the error "Dates are unconverted" this utility will correct the problem. This utility can be safely executed without requiring users to exit their MediFlex session. Click here to run this utility.
